Since our last update, some of our leaders met with some leaders/members of Rock Creek Bible Church (RCBC), they have decided to vote THIS Sunday, June 8th to approve the moving forward of closing their church, drafting a temporary constitution to care for some of the details of their facilities and starting on June 15th, to begin attending Bethany Community for the foreseeable future.

God is at work in our communities, and we will continue to trust the Lord in His plan and timing of a new work in Congerville in the years ahead.
Here are two things to Pray/Plan for:
- Pray for their meeting on June 8th and for God to be glorified in their plans and decisions.
- Plan for attenders from RCBC to be with us starting on June 15 and look for opportunities to welcome and encourage them.
We will be looking to provide some opportunities to care/encourage the Rock Creek attenders!

This past week, a group of BCC elders met with the leadership of Rock Creek Bible Church for our first conversation since both churches approved to pursue a potential church plant. While no timeline has been set at this stage, we were encouraged by this first meeting and are prayerfully considering the next steps. We ask for you to be praying for future meetings and planning between BCC and RCBC. We look forward to updating you as decisions are made!
